Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This policy outlines acceptable and prohibited uses of the Mentor Clock platform. It applies to all users including mentors, mentees, and organizational administrators.

Acceptable Use

The Platform is intended for: legitimate mentorship and professional development activities; booking and conducting mentorship sessions; sharing professional knowledge and experiences; tracking career growth and development goals; and communicating with mentors/mentees about sessions and professional topics.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not: misrepresent qualifications, credentials, or identity; engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, or abuse; share explicit, illegal, or harmful content; use the Platform for purposes unrelated to mentorship; attempt to bypass security controls or access restricted data; scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Platform; share account credentials with unauthorized parties; solicit personal or financial information outside the Platform; or engage in fraudulent payment activity.

Mentor-Specific Guidelines

Mentors must: accurately represent their expertise and experience; be prepared and professional for scheduled sessions; respond to booking requests within a reasonable timeframe; respect confidentiality of mentee information; and avoid providing advice that requires licensed professional qualifications (legal, medical, financial) unless appropriately qualified.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in: a warning; temporary suspension; permanent account termination; or legal action if required. We investigate all reported violations and take appropriate action while respecting due process.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior that violates this policy, report it to trust@mentorclock.dev. All reports are investigated confidentially.
